Vandalism at Manito Park was the focus of the January 24th meeting. The director of the Spokane Parks department and a representative from Manito Park were present, as well as a number of people who live immediately around the park. The parks representatives are asking for our help, and would like to meet with interested neighbors to discuss ideas on how to improve the situation.
Also at the January 24th meeting, a traffic/streets survey was conducted to get a feeling for the priorities from our neighborhood. The results will be shared with a city wide task force looking into transportation related issues.
